We love film almost as much as we love theatre...and that's what makes Appletree different - we are skilled in both!

From filming your school production to providing a single or multiple camera crew for a special film project, Appletree has the experience & equipment to ensure a professional result.

For schools we can film:

• a school play or concert filming

• a special school event or project

We can also offer training in filming for school children, as part of multi-media projects, as well as our "Film in Five": an exciting opportunity for pupils to write, film and edit a 5 minute feature film.  Please click on the left hand links for more details.

Filming Equipment

We use professional Sony Z1-HDV film camera's, together with high quality sound equipment & lighting - this ensures we capture superior footage. 

All our films are edited using the industry-standard editing system, Final Cut-Pro.  We also design our own graphics and soundtracks to enhance the film.  DVD's are created in-house using professional disc duplicator systems, and all discs and DVD cases are colour printed with designed graphics & titles.
